I've realized that I've logged the past two years of my life with Xanga. I've come to the realization that, as much as I've enjoyed using the ol' gal, it's possible that maybe, just maybe, I've outgrown "kimmiesgotskills." I dunno. I'm currently looking for a new place to blog, preferably one that'll let me use the name "sassquatch" in there somewhere. It has a nice ring to it. A sassy one.

I know nothing about good places to set one of these babies up, so if anyone has a suggestion, I'm more than willing to listen.

As much as I love Chess, I sometimes wish I had a real pet. You know, one I can hug without fear of breaking (or being bitten). I wish I could experience those joys of pet ownership that just can't be had with a hamster: I can't take Chess out for walks, I can't give Chess baths, and I can't fall asleep with her nestled at my side (she's likely to scurry away to the nearest stray peanut). I do love her. I mean, how can you not love this adorable face?

It'd be nice if the owner of this adorable face could also do tricks like "fetch" or "roll over." Cuz, you know, hamsters are pretty dumb.

Well, it looks as though I will be a full time student next quarter. Boo to the foreign language requirement! And the suckiness that is Psych 129E!

I filed my taxes for the first time ever! That was exciting, and convenient! I highly recommend filing them online. It took me about an hour and was pretty pain-free. Plus, I'm getting money back, so it takes the pain out of paying for the e-service.

I got to handle my very first patient by myself recently. I thought I messed up big time, but I didn't. I only messed up a little. I'm really grateful that people are willing to take a chance with me. It makes me want to take more chances with people. Like, you know, actually give them the chance to mess things up instead of assuming that they will.
